Comparative evaluation of apical debris extrusion during root canal preparation using three different rotary file systems

چکیده

Background: Endodontic success depends on the complete cleaning and shaping of root canal. In order to achieve this goal, debris removal is essential. Even with improvements in instrument design, apical extrusion continues be a cause periradicular inflammation. The current study aimed compare amount apically extruded throughout canal instrumentation TruNatomy, ProTaper Next, 2Shape rotary systems. Methods: A total 60 freshly extracted single‑rooted mandibular premolars were use. An access opening was made, working length estimated. samples arbitrarily allocated into three groups i.e. Group I: TruNatomy (n = 20), II: Next III: 20). During instrumentation, collected preweighed Eppendorf tubes. Post-instrumentation, tubes placed hot air oven at 140°C for five hours. For calculating dry weight, tube’s pre-instrumentation weight deducted from post-instrumentation weight. data analysed using one‑way analysis variance post hoc Tukey’s test. Results: Extrusion noted all specimens. system showed least comparison (P < 0.05). However, results statistically non-significant between > Conclusions: It that instruments debris, being related minimum extrusion.

Apical extrusion of debris during root canal preparation using a novel nickel-titanium file system: WaveOne gold

Aim This study was intended to evaluate the amount of apically extruded debris following root canal preparation with three different instrumentation systems. Materials and Methods Sixty mandibular incisor teeth were selected and randomly divided into three groups (n = 20/group) according to the instrumentation system used: the ProTaper Next (PTN; Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland), ...

Effect of coronal flaring on apical extrusion of debris during root canal instrumentation using single-file systems.

AIM To evaluate the effect of coronal flaring on the amount of debris extruded apically during root canal preparation using the Reciproc, WaveOne (WO) and OneShape (OS) single-file systems. METHODOLOGY Ninety extracted single-rooted mandibular incisor teeth were randomly assigned to six groups (n = 15 for each group) for canal instrumentation. Endodontic access cavities were prepared in each ...

Apical extrusion of debris and irrigant using novel preparation systems.

AIM The aim of this in vitro study was to assess the amount of apically extruded debris and irrigant using Reciproc vs self-adjusting fle (SAF) and to investigate the effect, if any, of gravitational force via mandibular and maxillary positioning of the teeth. MATERIALS AND METHODS Forty human mandibular premolars were randomly assigned to four groups of 10 teeth each. The root canals were in...
